The Nominating Committee has presented Lorraine Arney and Peter Trombley to fill the two open seats on TCT's Board of Directors.



Lorraine Arney

Lorraine Arney

Having over 43 years of credit union experience at various levels in three credit unions, Lorraine started as a teller and worked her way into executive managerment at Hudson River and TCT Federal Credit Union, and was the CEO of Northern Corridor FCU. She is a former Board Member of the NY Credit Union Association, was a credit union consultant and worked as a liaison with the National Credit Union Association (NCUA). She was on the Planning Board for the Village of Rouses Point, NY, and was actively involved with the Wait House Committee in Glens Falls as well as Glens Falls Hospital. Lorraine is still very active in her community, working as a Tax Aide for AARP. Currently, Lorraine spearheads board and committee orientation, education, recruitment and succession programs. Lorraine brings diversity and a different perspective to this position. Lorraine is currently the Vice-President of the Board of Directors.




Peter Trombley

Peter Trombley

Peter brings years of experience in strategic planning and financial analysis, as well as the knowledge of the compliance operations and information security. He also has prior consulting experience with profit-improvement and cost modeling projects for financial organizations. As a Management Consultant for financial institutions, he focuses on information security and compliance. Peter is the Owner and Managing Director of Bankcard Compliance Group, a company providing network encryption compliance audits for financial institutions. Peter looks forward to contributing his time, effort and knowledge in helping TCT continue its strong growth and development while maintaining and extending its excellent reputation for member service. He is a firm believer in the credit union model of ownership for the collective benefit of the institution’s members. Furthermore, he believes that members must be willing to actively support and, if appropriate, contribute directly to the ongoing success of the credit union. Peter is currently President of the Board of Directors.


There are two three-year terms to be filled. Nomination petitions for candidates who wish to seek elections may be requested by calling, or visiting any of our offices. A minimum of 20 members in good standing must sign a candidate's petition and the petition must be submitted to the Secretary of the Board by February 16, 2018. There will be no nominations from the floor. The secretary shall post the accepted nominations by March 30, 2018.
