2025 TCT Federal Credit Union Mutt Madness Contest Rules

PRIZE: $500 Visa Gift Card from TCT Federal Credit Union

Dates: February 15th, 2025, thru February 28th, 2025, online entries via tctfcu.org will be received as an official entry for Mutt Madness.

The contest officially begins with round 1 March 3, 2025, at 7:00am and the contest concludes March 30, 2025, at 11:59pm.

ALL FINAL VOTES WILL BE COUNTED. WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED APRIL 3rd , 2025, via www.facebook.com/TCTFCU

OFFICIAL RULES - NO ACCOUNT OR PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN

1. DESCRIPTION OF CONTEST: Pet dog photo contest. Winners enter via tctfcu.org and the winner is determined by how many likes their photograph receives on our TCT FCU Facebook page after successfully making it through each round and then having the most final votes. The TCT Federal Credit Union Contest is designed to give entrants the opportunity to win a prize by votes on social media.

2. ELIGIBILITY: Promotions are open only to individual residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older at time of contest. Employees of TCT Federal Credit Union and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to enter or win. All previous winners of the TCT Federal Credit Union Annual Mutt Madness contest are not eligible to participate. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.

3. HOW TO ENTER: To enter visit tctfcu.org and fill out the official contest entry form including REQUIRED photo submission. Additional required information includes your name, your pet’s name, a description of your pet, your mailing address including city, state and zip code, a phone number, email address and your age. All entries must be completed and received by 11:59pm February 28th, 2025. TCT reserves the right to use your name, pet's name, city you are from and the information you have included about your pet, including your pet’s image. By entering the contest, you agree and consent for TCT Federal Credit Union to utilize this information for promotional purposes. This includes but is not limited to items such as press releases, social media, marketing material, website use and anything TCT considers marketing and promotions hosted by TCT Federal Credit Union.

4. CONTEST EXECUTION AND PROCESS OF WINNER SELECTION

Friday, February 14th through Friday February 28th, 2025, entries will be received as an official entry for Mutt Madness.

Monday, March 3rd through Friday, March 7th, 2025, TCT Staff members will vote for their top choices.

Monday March 10th, 2025, the top 16 entries voted for by TCT Staff will make it to Round 1, also known as Sweetest Sixteen.

Round 1 will begin Monday, March 10th, 2025, at 7:00am and end Sunday, March 16, 2025th at 11:59pm. The top 8 photos with the most likes will move on to Round 2.

Round 2, also known as The Elite Eight, will begin on Monday, March 17th, 2025, at 7:00am and end on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 11:59pm. The top 4 photos with the most likes will be selected to move on to round 3.

Round 3, also known as the Favorite Four will begin Monday, March 24, 2025, at 7:00am and end on March 30, 2025, at 11:59pm.

ALL FINAL VOTES WILL BE COUNTED. WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED MARCH 31st 2025. The winning entrant will be contacted using the email address and/or telephone number provided with the entry and may be awarded the prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules).

5. VOTING: Anyone can vote for their favorite. (One (1) vote per photograph per Facebook account.) (If there is a tie, TCT Federal Credit Union will conduct a random drawing from the tying entries to determine the winner.)

6. PRIZE: The prize must be picked up in person by the Entrant, at one of our TCT Federal Credit Union branches locations unless agreed by both parties. Prize includes a $500 Visa Gift Card from TCT Federal Credit Union. If not able to provide a Visa Gift Card with $500, winner will receive a check for the amount from TCT FCU. TCT reserves the right to report prize value and winner’s name to the IRS and NYS dep’t of Tax and Finance.

7. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: By participating, all entrants acknowledge and agree that they have entered the promotion of their own free will, that the full rules and details of the promotion have been made available to them in writing and they therefore understand and agree that neither TCT Federal Credit Union nor its employees have any liability with respect to any damages incurred out of acceptance and use of a prize. By entering this Giveaway, participants agree to be bound by these rules.

8. GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these official rules or the rights and obligations of participants or TCT Federal Credit Union in connection with the promotion shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the state of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules provisions that would cause the application of any other state laws. Claims may not be resolved through any form of class action. TCT Federal Credit Union reserves the right to amend these contest rules at any time without prior notice, at its sole discretion. TCT Federal Credit Union reserves the right to disqualify any participant for any reason, including, but not limited to, violation of these official rules, copyright infringement or infringement of the rights of a third-party.
