Teacher of the Week is an awards program sponsored by TCT Federal Credit Union and Adirondack Broadcasting that honors our local school employees making a positive impact on their students and school communities! Each week during the school year one recipient is selected and announced on-air.
All school employees are eligible to win
If you know of a school employee who does an extraordinary job and goes above and beyond for you or your child, we want to hear about it. A nomination of 100 words or less should be submitted to teacher@adirondackbroadcasting.com explaining why this nominee should be Teacher of the Week.

Congratulations to this week's Adirondack Broadcasting teacher of the week, sponsored by TCT Federal Credit Union. Ms. Kelsey Cox, 6th grade Teacher at the Lake George Elementary School has been selected as this week's winner. Ms. Cox leaves a lasting impression on both hearts and minds of her students. She has a remarkable ability to truly see her students, recognize what they do well, and help those strengths grow. Ms. Cox empowers her students, encourages them, and teaches with a perfect blend of kindness, humor, and genuine thoughtfulness. Thanks to Ms. Kelsey Cox for all she does at the Lake George elementary School and within the Lake George community.
Coach Nevins loves to teach students how to play different sports and activities, and she plays right along with them! She encourages teamwork and sportsmanship with all her students. Coach Nevins includes other subjects into her activities like math, and she also teaches adaptive classes. All the students love Coach Nevins, and thanks for all she does for the Hadley Luzerne school district community!
Mrs. Crombach is a great teacher and makes every student that enters her classroom feel safe and welcome. Students feel they could talk to her about anything and she is always willing to listen. Outside of teaching music, she is an outstanding field hockey coach and is always supporting her students by going to their sports games. Thank you again to Mrs. Theresa Crombach for making Corinth High School a better place for all students.
Miss. Stuttard goes above and beyond for her students every day. She makes sure to slow things down and go over the class material carefully, so her students understand the work. Miss Stuttard is incredibly patient and puts in a lot of time with each student. She is also great at communicating with parents, so everyone is on the same page. Thank you to Miss Lexi Stuttard for all she does at Kensington Road Elementary School in Glens Falls.
Congratulations to Mrs. Peggy Bartow, Art Teacher at Argyle Central School. Mrs. Bartow has created a vibrant, art-driven classroom that inspires creativity in every student. Her amazing projects help to instill confidence and make students proud of their work. Mrs. Bartow creates a supportive learning environment, where imagination thrives, and artistic skills grow. Her passion is evident through the hallways of Argyle Central School. Thank you, Mrs. Peggy Bartow, for all that you do for the school and Argyle community.
Congratulations to Mrs. Ann Marie Richards, 2nd-Grade Teacher at Warrensburg Elementary School. Mrs. Richards deserves to be recognized for her hard work and dedication to making her students shine! She works individually with each of the students in her class to make sure they all clearly understand the materials they are working on. Not only is Mrs. Richards a mentor to her students, but she is also excellent at communicating with parents to make sure they are updated on their child’s progress. Thanks to Mrs. Ann Marie Richards for all she does for the students and families in the Warrensburg Community.
Congratulations to Mr. Jeremy Boutellier, Music Teacher at Glens Falls Middle and High School. “Mr. B” as he’s known, has such enthusiasm for teaching music that he instills a love for music in all his students. He supports, encourages, and leads his students with humor and generosity. Mr. B not only leads regular band classes, but he also teaches instrument lessons, conducts the middle school jazz band, guides the pep band at home football games, and plays his own instrument in the school musical each year. He also travels to music competitions throughout the state with his students, showing them how far music can take you. Thanks to Mr. Jeremy Boutellier, Music Teacher at Glens Falls Middle and High School, for all he does for students and the community.
Congratulations to Mrs. Maria Lathrop, 7th and 8th Grade English Teacher at Argyle Central School. Mrs. Lathrop always finds a way to put a smile on her student’s faces and comes up with all these cool and fun writing projects. Mrs. Lathrop also picks great books that students love to read. Whether it’s helping students come up with ideas for their writing piece, or showing them how to write a conclusion sentence, she always helps her students out. Thanks again to Mrs. Maria Lathrop for all she does for students at Argyle Central School.
