TCT Federal Credit Union (TCT) is pleased to announce their new TCT Supports the Trades Grant to assist members entering the trades. Monday, April 21, 2025, marks the opening of applications for the new program.
Who is Eligible: This grant is available to members 16 and older, at any stage of any life who are enrolled in, or have completed a trade school program, and have a financial need.
The TCT Supports the Trades Grant program is part of the Credit Union’s commitment to championing education and supporting the TCT Member groups, such as Eastern Castings, Fort Miller Group, Hudson Headwaters Health Network, and The IBEW International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 236, just to name a few. TCT is uniquely positioned to help bridge the gap between the skilled workforce and work opportunities in our communities.
“We are thrilled to continue supporting education through our scholarships and to expand opportunities with the TCT Supports the Trades Grant Program,” said TCT FCU CEO, Curt Cecala. “We want high school seniors and our adult members to know there are jobs in our communities that offer competitive salaries through a trade education, and we can help them achieve their goals.”
In addition to the TCT Supports the Trades Grant, the TCT Scholarship program will begin accepting applications in October for high school seniors planning to enroll at an accredited two-year or four-year college, vocational, or technical school for the upcoming academic year.
